I spent 30 years managing billions on Wall Street — at Carlyle, OppenheimerFunds, and Morgan Stanley — before walking away to pursue something more powerful: building wealth not just for individuals, but for nations.
Today, I lead a lithium mining initiative in Somaliland to align U.S.-Taiwan strategic interests in Africa, help structure ESG investment products for the pension system, and teach the next generation of asset managers as Chair Professor at National Sun Yat-sen University. I also founded a financial education platform for women, serve on the Columbia University Board of Visitors, and advise governments on using investment as a tool of diplomacy.
