ABOUT

Ziva Wealth is my initiative to empower women with financial independence. Conceived as a mission-driven venture, Ziva is a financial education platform designed to help women invest with confidence, clarity, and control. Unlike traditional financial advice for personal investing—often shaped by commission-driven incentives and legal risk mitigation—Ziva offers practical guidance without sales pressure, dense financial jargon, or conflicts of interest.

I created Ziva after spending seven years as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley and over a decade as a fund manager in institutional investment. During my time at Morgan Stanley, I saw a recurring pattern: many women wanted to understand investing but didn’t know where to turn. They were often excluded from financial decision-making at home—relegated to managing daily expenses while their husbands or fathers handled the investments—because they were told they “didn’t know enough.” When life forced them to take charge of their finances—due to divorce or the death of a spouse—they often turned to financial advisors whose primary motive was to drive sales for commission. These advisors weren’t trained to invest—they were trained to sell.

At the other end of the spectrum are professional investment managers—people trained to manage large pools of capital. However, they often specialize in narrow strategies within specific asset classes and lack a holistic understanding of how to invest for personal financial goals.

That’s what makes personal investing so hard to learn. It isn’t taught in school. The internet is full of misinformation, much of it put out by financial advisors themselves. And individual investors are often left relying on gut instinct or personality-driven risk tolerance rather than investment logic tied to actual financial goals. For example, someone with a “low risk appetite” might keep long-term retirement savings in cash or money markets—safe, but ultimately self-defeating in terms of returns.

Ziva exists to change that. It draws on my experience managing both institutional and personal investments to systematically teach women how to think clearly and invest with logic and confidence. Everything is built to be understandable, practical, and tailored to women who want to learn—no background in finance required.
